"All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us."
-J.R.R. Tolkien
At Kathryn Lilly Therapy, our focus is on helping individuals work together to build Healthy Families & hopeful futures. If you’re looking for a therapist in Fort Worth who blends professional insight with real-life understanding, who can meet you with both empathy and practical tools, I’d be honored to walk alongside you. Together, we can develop healthier patterns, stronger connections, and create a life filled with enjoyment and resilience. All you have to do is decide!
Whether you’re navigating a major life change, seeking to address unwanted patterns of behavior, breaking generational cycles, or simply longing for more peace at home, I’m here for you! I specialize in working with blended families, attachment therapy, communication struggles, pre-teens to young adults in transition, strengthening marriages, addiction recovery in the home, grief support, and early childhood emotional regulation tools.
Therapy with me isn’t just about techniques and strategies—it’s about connection. I bring my own lived experience as a wife and mom in a blended family of 6. (I have a young adult daughter, two teenage sons, and a very spirited three-year-old boy). Our home is full of energy, music, laughter, two big dogs, and three cats- rarely quiet! Frequently difficult. But always fueled with love... and coffee! My husband is an engineer, and together we share a love of all things nerdy, from role-playing games to Medieval and Celtic culture. I also find joy in music, reading, cooking, baking, decorating, and spending time outdoors, hiking, and camping with my family.
Service is also at the heart of who I am. In addition to private practice, I serve as the director of a nonprofit counseling organization in my community and as the Pastoral Counseling Director at my local Nazarene church. This is why a big part of our mission at Kathryn Lilly Therapy is built on the principle of Get One. Give One. For every session you book, a free session is donated to our nonprofit partner, Renovation Counseling, so someone in need can also access the care they desire. Your step toward healing also supports another family’s journey toward hope. I encourage you to decide to come on this adventure with us today- and bring some friends!
